FAQs

Patient experience is our top priority and we want to make your appointment as easy as possible. Have a question that isn’t addressed here?

Do you accept children?

Yes! Dental Image Therapy Centres offers pediatric dentistry. We also have child-friendly video games available in both our waiting rooms to keep kids entertained while they wait for their appointment.

Our dentists recommend infants come for their first dental appointment between six months of their first tooth coming in, or by their first birthday.

Do you direct bill insurance?

The answer is usually yes, depending on who your provider is. For new patients, we ask that you provide your insurance information when you book an appointment so we can retrieve and confirm your coverage details before you come in.

Are you accepting new patients?

Dental Image Therapy Centres always accepts new patients. We have two convenient locations to suit your needs: St. Vital and Garden City.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Both DITC clinics do accept walk-ins, but we prefer that patients schedule an appointment in advance. Appointments are necessary so we can reserve the right amount of time according to a patients’ needs. However, we understand that emergencies happen, and that same day service is required in some cases. We strive to offer flexible appointment options which include early mornings, evenings and Saturday.

How do your fees compare to other dentists?

We follow the Manitoba Dental Association’s suggested fee schedule, so our fees are almost identical to other dental offices in Winnipeg.

Occasionally someone will ask if we charge higher fees in order to pay for the advanced technology in our facilities. The answer is no. We strongly believe in keeping our fees low and investing in our clinics to ensure we can offer great patient care. If you ever have a question about our fees, please don’t hesitate to ask.
