The Solea Laser is a handheld laser tool that allows us to carry out certain dental procedures with greater ease and speed. The laser is used to prepare your tooth for cavity repair, and for many soft tissue surgeries. While using it, we decrease the need for anesthesia while also decreasing healing times.
“The Solea Laser allows dentists to expand their treatment modalities to care for patients in the most comfortable and innovative way possible,” said Dr. Simpson, dentist and co-owner of our Garden City clinic. “It’s a technologically advanced treatment that’s changing dentistry in an exciting way.”

The Solea Laser can be used to smoothly, quickly and safely work on both the hard and soft tissues in your mouth (teeth and gums, respectively), but it also has many other functions, allowing us to provide innovative same-day treatments to our patients. One of these treatments, Solea Sleep, uses the Laser to tighten up collagen in the soft palate, significantly improving snoring for patients with almost no discomfort or recovery time.
